How are your fees structured?
Fees vary by engagement type. I offer retainer-based advisory relationships, project-based consulting fees, and transaction advisory arrangements. All fees are disclosed upfront in your engagement letter — no surprises.
Do you manage properties?
I focus exclusively on strategic advisory — not property management. However, I maintain a network of trusted property management firms I can connect you with based on your asset type and investment goals.
What is a 1031 exchange and can you help?
A 1031 exchange allows you to defer capital gains taxes by reinvesting proceeds from a sold property into a like-kind investment. I advise clients on 1031 strategy, timeline, and identification of replacement properties — and coordinate with qualified intermediaries.
How is a consultant different from a Realtor?
A Realtor's compensation is tied to transactions — they earn when you buy or sell. As a fee-based consultant, my advice is objective and not driven by commission. I tell you when NOT to buy just as readily as when to buy.
How long does an engagement typically last?
It depends on your needs. Some clients engage me for a single acquisition decision (2–4 weeks). Others retain me on an ongoing basis for continuous portfolio oversight. I'm flexible and will recommend the engagement structure that makes the most sense for your situation.
Is my information kept confidential?
Absolutely. All client relationships are strictly confidential. I sign NDAs with all clients upon engagement and never disclose names, holdings, or strategies. Discretion is fundamental to my practice.
